5 Summer Fashion Trends from Copenhagen Fashion Week

Our emotions went from being utterly surprised to utterly amazed at the creations designers introduced during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Some like Saks Potts took typical summer trends and created new and exciting styles. Other designers such as Mark Kenly Domino Tan incorporated styles that are usually associated with the winter and created a mystical dark look for those chilly summer nights. The great thing about these trends is that they can be used and integrated to give of so many different styles and looks. While there were so many trends to choose from we broke it down to the top five.

Deep Plunge: It’s time to show a little skin with this deep plunge trend. Designers such as Margrethe-Skolen, Anna Von Aabling, and YDE by Ole Yde all brought out the sexy deep plunge in their designs from subtle to full blown plunge this trend came in different styles and sizes.

Black and White: When we think of summer the last color combo that comes to mind is black and white.

But this summer the black and white combo is definitely in. Designers such as Baum und Pferdgarten, Buurns Bazaar, and Mark Kenly Domino Tan incorporated these colors alone and together.

The colors were used to give off different styles. Baum und Pferdgarten’s black and white combo was very simple and semi-formal. While Mark Kenly Domino Tan completely eliminated the white and gave us a black semi sheer jumpsuit.

Crop Tops: It’s summer so it’s definitely crop top season. Crop tops come in so many styles for men and women, long sleeve or some even halter-tops. Some designers that incorporated the crop top were Rebeca Rebeca, Asger Juel Larsen, and Designers’ Nest. The crop top designs they fused in their summer lines all were seen differently. While Asger Juel Larsen had an edgy male crop top, while the Rebeca Rebeca crop top gave a very comfy casual look.
