On the 14th and 15th of October, the biannual Interbeauty Prague fair gathered beauty lovers from all around the Czech Republic to discover the hottest trends in nail design, make-up and dermatocosmetics, anti-aging, figure-shaping, wellness and health. Organized by INCHEBA EXPO PRAHA, the fair was held in the spacious and historic building of Vistaviste Holesovice. Visitors had a unique opportunity to try out the new products, as well as discover new, leading beauty innovations.
This year, Interbeauty Prague brought together more than 200 exhibitors who represented not only Czech but also international brands, undoubtedly making it one of the biggest and most important events in the world of cosmetics, hairdressing, and nail design in the Czech Republic. The exhibition featured multiple brands in the world of skin care cosmetics, such as Dermalogica, Hermitage, and Premier by Dead Sea Premier. NYX has only just recently entered the Czech market, and their decorative cosmetics stand, NYX from L’oreal, remained busy throughout the fair. Remington, Babyliss, Elgo, and many others presented new products as well as the latest innovations in hair-styling. In addition to this, the abundant nail design section featured brands such as O.P.I, Shellac, Cuccio, Alessandro, and CND, some of which offered free manicures and hand massages to their loyal clients and the general public.
The fair has also become the main hub of a number of beauty competitions, such as make-up awards, world make-up wars, and the Czech nails cup 2016. Many distinguished artists gathered to compete for the title of the best and the most innovative in the field, as well as for a number of valuable prizes. Top Image Look 2016 kicked off as part of the festival, an unusual and one-of-a-kind competition among the teams of hair, nail, and make-up artists. 11.000 CZK was raised from the registration fees, which were donated to the children’s rehabilitation center, Jasnenka in Unicov.
Moreover, the fair aimed to reward distinguished brands in various categories. The eco-cosmetics brand of Oway Rolland Czech Republic received an award after being nominated by Blue Planet for the most ecologically pure product. They also shared the Golden Cup reward for the best innovative project with SensUs, the brand of professional hair products.
